A Violence erupted on Sunday near Kallakurichi Tamil Nadu as protesters, demanding justice for the death of a girl student, went on a rampage and set fire to vehicles. 

According to report, a 17-year-old girl, studying Class 12 in a private residential school in Chinnasalem's Kaniyamoor area, about 15 km from Kallakurichi, was found dead on July 13 on the hostel premises.

The girl, an inmate of a room on the third floor of the hostel was suspected to have ended her life by jumping to the ground from the top floor.

1. Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has allotted over 7.1 crore equity shares to internet major Google for Rs 734 a piece.

1. An Indian flight, a Hyderabad-bound IndiGo airliner from Sharjah was diverted to Pakistan's Karachi airport after the pilot reported a technical defect.

"IndiGo flight 6E-1406, operating from Sharjah to Hyderabad was diverted to Karachi. The pilot observed a technical defect.  Earlier, on July 5, a Dubai-bound SpiceJet flight from New Delhi made a precautionary landing in Pakistan's Karachi airport after the pilot developed a technical glitch.

2. BJP President JP Nadda held a meeting with former Prime Minister of Nepal, Pushpa K Dahal “Prachanda” in New Delhi as part of ‘Know the BJP’ initiative. JP Nadda said they had fruitful discussions over strengthening and deepening ties between India and Nepal.

1. A cargo plane which crashed in northern Greece was carrying 11 tonnes of weapons including landmines to Bangladesh. People living within two kilometres of the site where the Antonov-12 came down have been warned to stay indoors.

4. A hydrazine leak on a SpaceX cargo Dragon spacecraft caused the launch of the spacecraft to be delayed by more than a month. 

The spacecraft is now on its way to the International Space Station. Seven and a half minutes after takeoff, the Falcon 9 first stage landed on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. The stage successfully launched the Turksat 5B communications satellite, as well as NASA’s Crew-3, Crew-4, and CRS-22 missions.

The **white neckbands** have their origins rooted in England. In the old English Courts, the barristers-at-law used to wear white bands as part of their uniform. Since the Barristers were the first lawyers of Indian Courts, their dress was adopted as a symbol of advocates in our country. The two pieces of white cloth joined together to form the advocate’s bands represent the Tablets of the Laws or Tablets of Stone. These are the tablets that, according to the Christian belief, were used by Moses for inscribing the 10 commandments, which he received from a burning bush on Mt. Sinai. The 10 commandments are believed to be the first example of a uniform coded law. The shape of the band is also similar to the rounded off rectangular tablets. Thus, the white advocate’s bands represent the upholding of the laws of God and of men.

Fire happens when three things are in the same place at the same time:

 **Fuel** (something to burn—such as wood or coal). **Oxygen** (usually from the air). **Heat** .

 Fire-fighter involves breaking the fire triangle. which means removing either the fuel, the heat, or the oxygen.

 **Carbon dioxide (CO2)** extinguishers contain a mixture of liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide (a nonflammable gas). CO2 is normally a gas at room temperature and pressure. It has to be stored under high pressure to make it a liquid. When you release the pressure, the gas expands enormously and makes a huge white jet. CO2 attacks the fire triangle in two ways: it smothers the oxygen and, when it turns from a liquid back to a gas, it "sucks" in a massive amount of heat from its surroundings (the latent heat of vaporization), which cools whatever you spray it on by removing heat.

You'll also find fire extinguishers classified by the types of fires you can use them on. This gives us five different kinds:

A: **Green** : For wood, cloth, and paper.

B: **Red** : For combustible and flammable liquids such as oil, gasoline, and paint.

C: **Blue** : For electrical equipment and tools.

D: **Orange** :: For flammable metals.

K: **Black** : For animal or vegetable oils or cooking fats.

Inside, a fire extinguisher is quite like a giant aerosol can, often with two different substances inside. One of them is a solid, liquid, or gas substance for fighting the fire. The other one is called a propellant and is a pressurized chemical that makes the fire-fighting substance come out when you press the extinguisher handle.
